Role Purpose

As our Brand and Retention Manager, you will be responsible for shaping both our employer and our client-facing brand into one that people trust, talk about, and rely on. You will play a central role in supporting our global business and marketing strategy as we establish ourselves as a leading go-to-market brand in the crypto operations space.

This role offers the opportunity to design and execute the overall marketing strategy in close partnership with the Acquisition Manager, while defining and evolving our internal and client brand DNA. You will lead creative output across channels and build, manage, and scale a high-performance marketing function that delivers measurable growth through data-driven, digital-first campaigns.

  • Lead the content and communications calendar as well as commercial events calendar.

  • Build and manage a marketing budget

  • Develop a customer-focused brand that resonates in the relevant communities and internally through our employer branding alike

  • Monitor brand performance and sentiment in real-time (Reddit, Discord, X)

  • Drive consistency across touchpoints: website, platform, ads, influencer scripts

  • Build and lead a Brand and Retention team

  • Support People and Operations departments in initiatives related to Employer Branding as well as commercial branding strategies, techniques and resources.

  • Work closely with CFO, CLO, and CPO to ensure a tight knit strategy encompassing overarching company directives and conformity.

  • Travel as extensively as required to support the launch, events management and initiatives success.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7+ years of experience in retention, CRM or lifecycle marketing within digital-first consumer platforms (fintech, e-commerce, entertainment or similar).

  • Proven track record in building and executing retention, loyalty, and CRM strategies that increase LTV, reduce churn, and drive customer engagement / loyalty.

  • Strong expertise with CRM automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Optimove, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) including email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging.

  • Solid experience designing and managing engaging and results driven loyalty and VIP programs.

  • Demonstrated success in community building — leveraging social media, influencers, events, and in-platform engagement.

  • Deep understanding of customer behavior, trends and cultural idiosyncrasies

  • Strong analytical background: able to segment audiences, track retention KPIs and suggest and optimize strategic decisions based on insights and relevant data.

  • Experience managing creative brand consistency across multiple touchpoints (ads, emails, social, in-platform).

  • Leadership experience in building and scaling cross-functional teams, including design, CRM, comms, social, and loyalty specialists.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced / start-up environment, with proven ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver under pressure.
